Underwater World Singapore has bred more than twenty species of sharks, rays and other fishes of which a large portion are on display in the display tanks in the oceanarium. Underwater World Singapore has also played an active role in rescue and rehabilitation of injured and stranded marine animals and contributed to scientific research.

Over the years, Underwater World Singapore has sought to raise public awareness on marine conservation issues via our educational exhibits and signage information, enriching educational programs, outreach assembly talks for schools and various ongoing conservation projects with other partners and institutions. We consider it an important responsibility of ours, as an oceanarium, to inspire our visitors to do their part to conserve the fragile marine environment.

Our very own conservation slogan: Blue Mission - Inspire, Educate, Conserve, represents aptly this vision and the work that we strive to do.

Dive with the Sharks

In search of thrills?  This dive guide-led programme not only lets you immerse in a colourful world of fascinating deep-sea denizens, but also come nose to nose with our ever-vigilant sharks.  Watch out for those huge eagle rays hovering above too! Join us whether you’re SCUBA-certified or not.

Price: S$120 per person

Includes admission to Underwater World Singapore and Dolphin Lagoon. Accompanying family members and friends of participants can enjoy a 20% off published admission rates to the oceanarium.

Entire duration: 90 minutes (30 minutes of wet time)

Programme Pre-requisites

  • Be 12 years old and above
  • Some degree of physical fitness
  • Good general health
  • Be comfortable in and around the water to scuba dive
