EPISODE GUIDE
Bee Stung Brit
Jonathan tests the science and theory of minimal movement in three dangerous situations. First, he is bound to his kitchen table with a live scorpion trapped inside his mouth. Next, he takes bee stings to several sensitive parts of his body in an unusually painful game of roulette. And finally he is locked inside a box on top of a shaking washing machine with his body covered in 200,000 agitated bees. Will he succeed or will his theory prove disastrous?
Dizzy Limit
Jonathan tests his ability to perform dangerous escapes while subjecting his body and senses to the force of spinning. First, he attempts to escape from a locked barrel that is pushed down a large hill and rolling at 126 revolutions per minute. Next, he tests his ability to maintain focus as he is spun on a chair at incredible speeds and has to then navigate barefoot through piles of broken glass. Finally, he straps himself onto the Water Wheel of Doom and experiences two Gs of force on his body. Will spinning make his escapes impossible or will he overcome some serious vertigo?
Human Catapult
Jonathan explores the science and the pain associated with projectiles. First, he is chained in a standing position as six tennis ball cannons pummel his body with balls flying at 45 mph. He then tests his ability to jump into just 17 inches of water, mud and hay from a height of almost 20 feet. Finally, he becomes a human projectile himself by getting placed in a giant slingshot and launched over 65 feet in the air.
Bird Brained
Jonathan puts his skills to the test in the face of some aggressive birds. First, he is restrained and served up for dinner to several hungry turkeys. Next, he learns about one of the largest and meanest birds known to man - the ostrich. Then he actually comes face-to-face with several ostriches as he is restrained and lowered into a pen filled with the big powerful birds.
Ice Trap
Jonathan experiences extreme cold temperatures while testing his ability to hold his breath under water. First, he is restrained in a straightjacket upside down and submerges his head inside a locked container of cold water. Next, he takes a trip to an icehouse where he conducts science experiments in sub-freezing temperatures. Finally, he is shackled and submerged in a dumpster filled with bone-chilling ice water and has to break through a 300 pound ice sheet to escape.
Long Way Down
Jonathan tests his ability to escape while dealing with the forces of gravity. First, he must break free before a life-size domino rally sends a door slamming down onto his head. Next, he takes some wild leaps off a high diving board. Finally, he gets bound and suspended 30 feet in the air and does his best to avoid a potentially very painful fall.
Buried Alive
Jonathan explores the science and danger of being buried alive. First, he's tied to a stake upside-down with his head buried in the ground. Next, he tests his breathing abilities as massive amounts of dirt are dumped on his chest. And finally, he is tied up and locked inside a coffin and buried alive and has to dig his way up through 10,000 pounds of dirt.
BMX Bounce
Jonathan tests his ability to perform dangerous escapes while withstanding the forces of impact. First, he is tied to a chair while several large, heavy objects, suspended by ropes, come crashing into him. Next, he experiments with varying speeds as he rides a BMX bike down a long path and slams head-first into an impact-measuring device. Finally, he is restrained behind a paper wall and timing is key as he tries to escape before Mikey breaks through and slams into him at top speed on a BMX bike.
