NASA 50th Anniversary Wernher von Braun

Dr. von Braun was transferred to NASA's Headquarters in Washington D.C in 1970 after being named Deputy Associate Administrator for Planning. But after only two years Dr. von Braun retired from NASA.

Dr. von Braun died in 1977. His headstone refers to psalms 19.1; “ How clearly the sky reveals God’s glory! How plainly it shows what he has done!”
