" Well, it's show time. Now, David Willey plans to walk across these coals in his bare feet, and at the aforementioned 1000 degrees, this is not exactly a tiptoe through the tulips."

" O-oh! Shoes are coming off."

" You betcha!"

" It's like a really bad episode of Mr. Rogers."

" What's the technique?"

" Technique is to walk across, keep your feet flat. You don't wanna be, some people claw their toes, because by doing this, that's where you pick up hot coals, Don't dawdle, but on the other hand, don't run."

" Okay."

" Yeah, falling face first into it is really--"

" That really hurts, yeah, okay."

" It's not a good idea."

" Face firewalking is not good."

" So, yeah."

" Alright David, are you ready to do this?"

" Are you ready to do this?"

" Let's do it."

" Go ahead."

" Oh, piece of cake."

" Really?"

" Yeah."

" Nothing?"

" But, let me come back to the other end and tell you about it."

" Okay."

" It"

" Wow."

" I'm going back. That's not bad."

" The bed of coals maybe 1000 degrees, but the layer of ash actually works as insulation, protecting even a tender foot like Matt's from the steel-burning wood bellow."
