what this plant is called. All I know from learning from an Inuit hunter that the root is very edible, and there's hundreds, maybe thousands of these plants all over the hillsides. Names aren't always important as long as you're absolutely sure that the plant you're eating is not poisonous because you've been taught by somebody who truly knows the plant. That's my situation here. I haven't got a clue what this plant is called. I'm sure it has an Inuit name. All I know is that it is edible. I can easily recognize it and it's easy to gather.
