London Ink - Liverpool Tattoo Convention

" The convention is spread over two days with hundreds of artists demonstrating their talent. Phil and Dan have a pitch and two clients who each want Mexican sugar skulls."

" I'm Dan."

" Hi. How do you do?"

" Nice to meet you man."

" How you doing? How you doing?"

" I'll do this for you."

" I did that one for you. This is going that way."

" It's perfect."

" You like that?"

" [unk]"

" Excellent."

" I made a couple of different sizes."

" So, see what you wanna do?"

" I only made one size. So, there you go. [unk]"

" With identical designs, but in very different styles, the boys get started in front of a crowd of fans."

" Yeah. It's working well man."

" At the Liverpool Tattoo Convention, Dan and Phil are busy creating two very individual candy skulls from the same design, while the allegiance of fans watch them patiently. Dan's usual lack of preparation meant he had to play to rise Phil's design on the way up, and now they're tattooing, his work quite leaves him in Phil's wake once again."

" I thought we're doing a good progress. I thought I was doing coming around nicely, and then I looked over at Phil, and he's almost finished, and I was still on the teeth. So I've gonna have to speed up a little bit."

" Unsurprisingly, Phil finishes first."

" Is it okay?"

" Perfect."

" Cool?"

" Absolutely."

" Like it?"

" Yah."

" Dan might have not finished yet, but the local celebrities' Hollyoaks', Ricky Whitle and footballer [unk] at least get to see the man in action."

" How long to take `em?"

" 4 hours."

" Yeah about 4 hours."

" 4 hours? [unk]"

" I can't sit still for that long you know."

" You don't do anything."

" No, I'm not allowed for work. You know what I mean?"

" Really."

" But very nice guy couple, so tried all these tattoos all out my neck, you know, he's kinda ruins the character."

" It may have taken Dan an extra 2 hours to finish, but his candy skull is just as great."

" Okay sir."

" I think you've had enough."

" It did really well. You can be really proud."

" The results of the day are two very different tags on the candy skull tattoo. One dark and menacing, the other extremely colorful."
