We've all felt the rush of adrenaline from time to time, meet men and women who feel it almost every day!
Their tools of the trade can be ordinary - a torch, a crowbar, a length of rope, a first-aid kit. But the men and women who use them are not ordinary at all - not when they are at work, anyway!
What they do for a living can best be described as routine punctuated by periods of wildly high stress, where lives hang in the balance, or the elements are their deadliest enemy.
