How can you tell if an egg is fully cooked without actually breaking its shell?

The answer is very simple: all you need to do is spin the egg. If it is cooked, the egg will spin in an even, circular motion for a while. If the egg is raw, it will tumble around in an erratic manner and will soon stop moving. There is a scientific explanation for this: a cooked egg has an even inside mass distribution that remains unchanged when it’s spinned. If the egg is raw, the yolk inside is displaced, causing an uneven, continuous distribution of its mass, thus making it spin uncontrollably.

More experiments:

Select an egg.
Prepare to spin the egg.
The egg spins evenly if it is cooked.
Egg spins unevenly if it is not cooked.
