The Honda Goldwing is another household name – thanks largely to the fact that it’s been around for 30 years. There’s also a huge, dedicated owners’ club.
The latest version is a 1832cc, six-cylinder house-on-wheels. Standard kit includes a stereo, huge padded chairs and bags of storage space.
It’s actually far easier to ride than it might look. The sweet-revving six-cylinder engine has plenty of low-down punch and the bike feels stable even at low speeds. Drop it in the car park, though, and you may need help getting it back up again.
