Luggage

You don’t have to rely on a rucksack if you plan to carry luggage on your bike.

The first option is a rear (or top) box - a lockable, rigid box that bolts to a frame on the back of your bike. Similar boxes are available for some bikes that attach either side of the pillion seat. Soft storage bags are a less permanent option – again for the sides of your bike, or on top of the fuel tank. Elastic luggage nets are useful for shorter distances – they hook on and allow items to be secured on the pillion seat.
