There’s no escaping the fact that motorcycling is dangerous – and unless you wear proper protective boots, your feet are at serious risk.
As with all motorcycle clothing, make sure your boots fit well. Blisters on a long ride can be agony. Choose your boots according to your requirements. If you are a weekend or track rider, go for lightweight sports boots, but if you are commuting, consider a more comfortable, weatherproof alternative.
Remember that if you drop your bike it’s possible your feet could become trapped. Get some quality boots and there’s a better chance they will stand the weight.
