To some car drivers, riding a motorcycle sounds too complicated. But it’s not as difficult as it seems.
Most geared motorcycles use a sequential gearbox – you move the gear lever up and down through the gears. The lever is operated by your left foot – push down for first and then lift for each of the remaining gears. You then push down again to return to first, and lift gently to find neutral. Easy.
The clutch is a lever on the left handlebar, while the right hand and right foot operate the front and rear brakes respectively. Got it?
