Arrivals and Departures
Although it's tradition for the bride to be a little late on her wedding day, make sure it's not because you haven't arranged the transportation well ahead of time - there is a traditional transportation etiquette to help save any arguments on the day.
To the ceremony
The bridesmaids and the bride's mother travel to the church first
The best man arrives at the church with the bridegroom
The bride arrives with her father
After the ceremony
The bride and bridegroom leave first for the reception
They are followed by the bridesmaids and then the best man
Then the groom's father with the bride's mother, followed by the bride's father with the groom's mother
The family and guests in the front pews should leave first followed by those seated from the front to the back of the church
