Aquamid

Upon injection, Aquamid fills the fine lines and wrinkles around the mouth. The natural gel is sterile and non-allergenic, the results are immediate and they are permanent, too. The treatment is so quick that you can have it done in your lunch hour!

Aquamid is a transparent gel made of 2.5% polyacrylamide and 97.5% non-pyrogenic (purest form) water, which is completely sterile and non-allergenic. The body does not absorb the gel and so is a permanent treatment. Aquamid can also be used for facial corrections and enhancements.

The procedure
After administration of a local anaesthetic, Aquamid is injected under the skin with a fine needle. The treatment is quick and the patient can go home or back to work immediately.

There may be localised swelling, redness and pinprick bruising for a few days afterwards.

Treatment time: under an hour
Results: immediate
Cost: from £600 dependent on amount of filler required
