Great San Francisco Earthquake

Wednesday 26 March at 9pm

Just over one hundred years ago on 18 April, 1906, an earthquake devastated San Francisco.

Using a combination of first-hand survivor testimonies, CGI and incredible live action, this feature length docu-drama gives a jaw-dropping and emotional account of one of the worst natural urban catastrophes ever to hit America.

The city was brought to its knees, virtually destroyed, and three thousand people lost their lives.

Concern also shifts to recent times, where a team of scientific experts have been drilling through the San Andreas Fault in an attempt to understand its secrets.

The threat of another quake is very real and very imminent, and the predicted damage will be much greater than the 1906 disaster.
