Trawler
Anthony, Stephen and Michael join the crew of a Scottish trawler to test themselves to the limit. Working night and day alongside experienced trawlermen, they’ll be hauling cod, haddock and coley out of the freezing sea, instead of out of the freezer. They’ll have to grab what sleep they can bobbing around in the stormy waters of the North Atlantic.
Trawling is dirty, sweaty and noisy work, and the most life-threatening job in Britain. The crew of the boat are tough, uncompromising men who work as hard as they can to get the catch home.
Anthony, Stephen and Michael have never encountered such unremittingly hard work in all their lazy lives. Could they surprise us, and even themselves, and discover how rewarding Hard Labour can actually be?
