Becoming Alexander
History meets Hollywood
How does one prepare to portray the supreme military leader of all time, Alexander the Great? How do modern day actors and filmmakers convincingly recreate the ancient world? For answers to these questions, Academy Award-winning director Oliver Stone and Hollywood star Colin Farrell granted exclusive access to Discovery Channel during preparation for the making of their epic film, Alexander.

The result is Becoming Alexander, an innovative biography format that explores the life and times of one of history’s greatest figures – by dissecting the training, preparation, and progression of the actor who must embody him on the big screen.
