A great transformation

Shot before and during film production, Becoming Alexander captures Colin Farrell’s journey of transformation into the conqueror of the ancient world. Along with director Oliver Stone, Farrell discusses Alexander’s character and ambitions, as he tries to find out who this man really was and bring him to life for today’s audiences.

In addition, Oxford University historian Robin Lane Fox, the world’s leading expert on Alexander and key advisor to Oliver Stone during the making of the film, lends his expertise on-location in Greece, England and France as he explains what Colin Farrell has to know about Alexander if he is truly to ‘become’ this extraordinary leader from history.
