Submission deadline
We are accepting program proposals for the 2010 Discovery Ignite funding initiative from the categories listed, the deadline to submit program proposals to our Sydney office is 4th January 2010.
Producers will be informed by 18th January 2010 if their proposal has been shortlisted and will be invited to pitch to our Discovery panel at AIDC (Australian International Documentary Conference)
Final projects selected for development will be expected to secure co-finance before the project can be green-lit.
Terms and Conditions
1) Producers invited to pitch are responsible for their own AIDC registration.
2) The Discovery Ignite Fund is open to Australia and New Zealand based production companies and individuals only.
3) A production company can submit more than one proposal across all categories.
4) An approximate budget total should be included in the proposal.
5) Every producer must sign the attached submissions release form and send it along with each proposal.
6) Submissions must include TWO SEPARATE COPIES of the following:
i. Program proposal
ii. Synopsis
iii. Production personnel overview and contact details
iv. Producer showreel
These submissions must be placed in two envelopes. One marked Sydney and the other marked Singapore.

8) Applications should reach the offices of Discovery Networks Australia by 4th January 2010. Applications arriving after that time will not be considered.
