Discovery Ignite is a funding initiative established to collaborate with filmmakers in Australia and New Zealand to co-produce original LOCAL content with GLOBAL appeal.
Each year Discovery Networks has committed per annum US$350k for successful projects.
Producers can submit program ideas from our 2010 content categories. Successful candidates will then be invited to pitch at AIDC 2010 (Australian International Documentary Conference).
Producers who have been invited to pitch are responsible for their own registration at AIDC and supporting visual materials, will be required at the pitching stage.
The 2010 categories are:
- Core Discovery
- Turbo Charged
- Innovation
- Travel
